Biography

Dale Villajuan is a painter based in Surrey, British Columbia, whose work transforms colour, emotion, and narrative into vivid, dreamlike imagery. From childhood, Dale was drawn to art, later honing his craft at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where he refined his approach to composition, colour, and storytelling. His paintings traverse surreal and abstract territories, encouraging viewers to reflect and engage with layered visual experiences. Dale has shown in solo and group exhibitions, including a pivotal early show at Federation Gallery, and his work resides in private collections across Canada. Guided by intuition and narrative, he continues to experiment with form, colour, and emotional resonance, creating art that both captivates and inspires.
